Your Kiss- A Poem

Your Kiss

To just feel the single brush of your kiss

In this time that I feel so alone

This is my only wish,

To melt my heart of stone.

I'm lonely, I'm so very desolate

Feeling worthless and sad

Pull me together with just your single kiss

It's all I have needed, it's all I ever once had.

Falling a part in every corner of my soul

A butterfly ripped of its wings

To never fly again,

Never free to let go.

Free me, just with your warmth in your kiss

In this single moment in time

Hold me in your arms

Then I'd feel sublime.

To just feel your breath upon my own

Is all I ever need, all I ever want.

I am drowning in sorrow, and am alone

But with you, and only with you I feel like a debutante.

To just feel your kiss again

Is all I ever wish

Right now in this moment of sadness

Pull me together with your divine kiss.

Free me, give me my wings again,

Heal me, to fly again.

Love me, to breathe again.

Carress me to hope again.
