How I Came Upon This Book

The funny thing here is that I happened to have been on vacation and was originally supposed to have been spending time with my family, who on average I get to see about once a year. I had been doing just that spending time with a couple of my cousins who happen to be avid readers like me.

I don't know how our conversation changed over to these books but none the less they did and one of them started to talk about a book called Tiger's Curse, the it's sequel Tiger's Quest. Just the mere conversation had my interest peeked. They sounded like books that no author has written yet and that is something I am in constant search for. That very day I went and picked up both the first one Tiger's Curse and the sequel Tiger's Quest.

Basics

Tiger's curse begins in the United States where a girl named Kelsey Hayes gets a job through a temp service at a circus. It starts out normal, being what she had signed up to be. She helps the animal trainer feed the animals, passes out tickets and cleans up after the shows. Everything seems average. Then there's that tiger. A tiger she just seems to be mesmerized by.

She is quick to discover there's a 300 year old Indian curse that was placed on two princes. Long and behold the weight is on her shoulders to break the curse, along with the help of the Indian prince who she calls Ren.

Kelsey and Ren must face evil forces, magic, and strange worlds in order to break this 300 year old curse.

Is It Worth The Read?

I have not read any book like Tiger's Curse before, enough said. There are several books about vampires and demons. All kinds of paranormal romances but none quite like this one here with a plot like this. Colleen Houck did a fantastic job grabbing a hold of reader's attentions. I couldn't even put my copy down. I had the book done that very night. The second one done the by the end of the next day. And to think my cousin said I wouldn't have them done before I got home. I proved her wrong. HA! I give this book five out of five stars.
