Introduction
The sunstone is a stone that originates in a couple of different places. There are a couple of types. The first kind is a natural sunstone that can look like an orange opal. This stone is usually imported from India. The other sunstone is called Oregon Sunstone. This stone obviously originates from Oregon.
Sunstones are very useful and like other crystals they have magical properties as well as healing. They can be used to enhance rituals and used to heal certain ailments. Not to mention I kind of like their orange color. It's a special color that almost has a calming effect.
In this hub you'll discover what sunstones can be used for to help you in life. You'll learn the magical properties. What element is the sunstone of? What are the zodiac signs of the stone? All of those questions will be answered.
Healing
Crystals can indeed be used in healing. It's called crystal healing. Make sure that you keep your crystals cleansed as well as charged. Crystals can absorb all kinds of energy including negative by cleansing them you can take care of that. Sunstones have remarkable healing properties. They are capable of helping out the functions of all of our organs. If you are one that is struggling with lack of sleep this stone can help ride of that tired feeling.
Sunstones can aid with depression as well, increasing self-esteem and ridding of any feelings of failure that one may have.
These stones have also been used to treat sore throats along with pain that stomach ulcers may cause. This stone is actually great with pain altogether no matter what the area may be. Like cartilage issues or rheumatism.
To use the sunstone in healing you may carry the stone on you or wear it. You may also rub the stone in the area of pain. If you use the stone by rubbing it in the area of pain visualize the pain or ailment leaving your body and entering the crystal.
I always like to add a note when I talk about natural and alternative healing methods. Crystal healing will not harm your body or react to it like herbs or medications however I'd like to say that I wouldn't fully rely on it. I like to do it if all else fails. Sometimes though I'll give it a shot before going to the doctor and sit time limit. For example if I have a cold and use a stone for healing and the pain doesn't go away by the set time then I'll go to the doctor. Do not fully rely on crystal healing.
